Vera’ s role in CARTHAGO

Vera joined CARTHAGO in august 2021 at the company JeNaCell. Here, special bio-synthetic cellulose sheets are produced which can provide major benefits in wound healing due to their high water content. Vera’s role in CARTHAGO will be to incorporate certain natural medicines, as well as products produced by other ESRs from CARTHAGO, into these cellulose sheets. Subsequently, Vera will explore the release of these products from the cellulose, and how they can be used for the treatment of OA affected joints.
