ESR 12 Ching-Ting (Jane) Yu

Jane was born on the sunny island of Taiwan. In 2017, she finished her bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science under the College of Pharmacy at Kaohsiung Medical University. In 2020, she obtained her joint master’s degree in Nanomedicine for Drug Delivery from Paris Cité University, University of Angers, and University of Pavia, where she worked on the development and characterization of electrospun nanofiber patches and implants for skin and ligament regeneration.

 

 

Jane’s role within CARTHAGO

Jane’s task is to investigate delivery and efficacy of nucleic acids using US in a rat model of experimental IVDD. To this end she started on the application of metabolic labelling using  click-chemistry for the application of non-invasive imaging of tissue regeneration in non viral gene therapy applications.

Jane likes traveling to learn about new cultures and experience different cuisines as well as making friends along the way. She also enjoys swimming, yoga, and learning languages.
